Providing knowledgeable representation is how I help my clients make informed and intelligent decisions about their family law issues. At the Law Offices of Robert B. Fried in Hartford, Connecticut, I have valuable experience representing clients who are facing divorce, child custody, visitation and spousal support issues. I have served as special master in Hartford since 1986 and have lectured on various family law issues to attorneys, psychologists and individuals.
Having worked in law offices in Hartford County, Middlesex County and New Haven County, I have a demonstrated commitment to family law. I have served on the executive committee of the Connecticut Bar Association family law section for the past seven years. I am a Connecticut instructor of family law software that computes child support guidelines and tax information for family law practitioners. In addition, I am one of only 24 Hartford County attorneys helping divorcing parties resolve custody disputes by participating in a new judicial early intervention custody pretrial program.
I also add a unique perspective, having served as a military judge advocate general (JAG) officer for 12 years, providing legal advice to military personnel.
